An example of searching a word in English
Like pervious examples just click on the blue script to see details and contextual references.

Sometimes you may see more than one transcription and translation when you click on contextual references it is because of the lack of unanimity on interpretation and transcription of that specific paragraph For instance for the MP. ahlaw in paragraph 3 of chapter six of Ardā-Wirāz-nāmag there is a different interpretation by Prods Oktor Skjaervo for this paragraph which is depicted in the next slide under a subtitle “Note” You can also see the aforementioned note by clicking on following link:

Since many of the middle Persian letters have more than one phonemic value if you search in Pahlavi script you may see words that are written in a same way but have different transcriptions and transliterations.

German and Dutch meanings are being added day by day so you cannot see all the Pahlavica’s corpuses in German, Dutch, PIE, PIIr. and PIr. for the time being.

Remember that you can search words by using Transliteration, Pahlavi script and English, Dutch, German and Persian meaning plus PIE, PIIr. and PIr. But this manual just provides you with examples of Transcriptions, Pahlavi script, Transliteration and English meaning.

Reconstructions are according to Leiden School.
